What are the terms?
Railway companies wishing to use stations managed by Gares & Connexions should proceed as follows...
Making an application for use.
Railway companies should apply to the Railway Companies Service Centre for use of station services.
In order for the application to be examined, the information supplied by railway companies must include the list of relevant stations, operational particulars of the trains and their capacity, and the contact details of company representatives.
What are the operators' obligations?
Stations and their adjoining facilities are public establishments and they are therefore subject to specific safety rules, and the staff of Gares & Connexions are responsible for ensuring that they are implemented by the various operators working on each site.
For this purpose, railway companies undertake, in particular, to comply with the safety, security and environmental regulations in force, and to this end, to keep Gares & Connexions informed about their train services (schedules and unforeseen events).
The Network Reference Document specifies terms of use for services, and the obligations of the different parties.
