Stations under development

The role of Gares & Connexions is chiefly to promote the development of passenger stations, improve the way they work, redesign and reinvent them so that we are constantly tailoring stations to the challenges of the future.

Check out three major projects:

Paris Gare de Lyon Station

The architects and designers from Gares & Connexions have launched a major extension and refurbishment project to adapt this station to ever-increasing passenger numbers and enhance its aesthetic appeal.

Bellegarde Station

This new multimodal interchange will bring Bourg-en-Bresse closer to Geneva and reduce the distance between Paris and Geneva. It has been designed with sustainable development in mind, with a particular focus on solar power.

Belfort-Montbéliard Station

This station has an environmentally-friendly design that relies on renewable energies such as solar and geothermal at the heart of the project.
